a fantastic weekend of fun and relaxation was had by all, the weather was perfect and there were no unexpected swimming sessions. Table members and families shared 3 luxury river boats for 2 nights on the Norfolk Broads .
Notts and Lincs Air Ambulance
The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance is a dedicated medical air service which first began operations in Lincolnshire in April 1994.
Based at RAF Waddington, south of Lincoln, and unaffected by road congestion, country roads, heavy vehicles or road works the Helicopter can reach any destination in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire in 19 minutes.
In the financial year 2007/2008 we flew 1104 missions and on 6th March 2008 completed our 10,000th mission.
In England and Wales there are eighteen dedicated Air Ambulance operations flying a total of 29 helicopters and all are reliant upon charitable support. An Air Ambulance provides an important and sometimes vital additional patient care service for our most critically ill and injured patients.
Newark Round Table are to Donate over £8000 to the Air Ambulance this year.
The 2011 Metz weekend will take place over the weekend of 5th-8th May this year we are looking forward to welcoming friends old and new for a weekend of Fun and friendship.

15 Newark Round Table members braved the Friday night traffic to head up to the lake district for a weekend of sailing fun on Lake Windermere, Amazingly most of us managed to stay dry! with only Nicola Bower Taking an unexpected dip. Our Chairman Keith Bains said ” This was one of the best table trips ever! thanks to all the members for making it so memorable”

Newark Round Table are off on there first sailing weekend on lake windermere.
17 brave souls will brave the Lake District weather at the end of Septermber to enjoy sailing on the Uk’s largest freshwater lake. With food, beer and wine layed on I am sure this will be a weekend to remember.
